About

We are the St. Louis local chapter of Pax Christi USA.  Pax Christi is a Catholic organization working for peace and justice in our community, country and the world.  Pax Christi’s work is organized around the following four areas:

I. Spirituality of Non-violence and Peacemaking

II. Disarmament, Demilitarization & Reconciliation with Justice

III. Economic and Interracial Justice in the U.S.

IV. Human Rights and Global Restoration

Our local chapter is currently focusing on the issue of racism and how it works against peacemaking.

We hold our monthly meeting at 7pm on the Second Tuesday of each month at the ‘Rock’ church.

I am new to the St. Louis area. I was an active member at St Francis of Assisi chapter in Derwood, MD and am looking to join the St Louis chapter. PLEASE let me know if you are joining in this Saturday’s vigil in Ferguson for Michael Brown. Also, please let me know if your next chapter meeting is happening on the 4th Tuesday of the month at 7pm at Rock church. Thanks! Pax Christi – richard
